Hi Julie! Thanks for stopping by. My technique is kind of old school.. I'm using the indirect glazing method. I start with an underpainting (oil on canvas), and build up lots of glazes of both transparent & semi-opaque layers. The white ground underneath reflects light back up through the layers creating a bit of a glow.
