(note on the painting:  I had painted a previous version of this on paper.  This one is a bit larger and is on stretched canvas, ready to hang.  These wonderful birds were spotted on a day trip to the Big Sur coastline with my family this past winter. )

Thanks MoxieDog! I went through a big series of bird paintings... lots of birds on wires. They still catch my eye & I suspect more paintings will be forthcoming.
